The activities carried out for the Rome city area are related to: traffic monitoring and counting, origin/destination surveys, qualitative/quantitative surveys, for all modes of the transport network, both public and private. The scope is to support the identification of suitable solutions for specific mobility issues, inform transport planning as well as monitoring the efficiency of public transport services. In the  accomplishment of the activities different approaches and technologies will be applied (e.g. radars, cameras and image recognition processes, in-field investigations, on-line surveys).
