The assignment is aimed at assisting Confindustria Centro Nord Sardegna in the execution of an in-depth study on the implementation of ITS (Intelligent Transport System) systems in cross-border areas (ports and areas serving ports) and in the creation of a catalogue of existing solutions at European level.

The study is part of the Interreg TRIPLO+ project, which envisages the implementation of the port sustainability initiatives and strategies already developed in the previous TRIPLO project. 

The main components of the study are: – Analysis of the state of the art of existing ITS at national and international level; – Indicative analysis of the costs and benefits associated with different ITS; – Identification of good practices; – Creation of a catalogue of ITS systems; – Analysis of the prevailing orientations for ITS funding in the European programming 2021-2027.
